Sandals hold the feet in position on the footboard. For a client whose feet slide off, cross over or lift away when tone rises, a secured foot is the difference between a sitting position that holds for half an hour and one that comes apart in five minutes.
Each sandal mounts to the footboard and can be angled and positioned independently, so you can set foot rotation and separation to suit the client, not to suit the board. Straps across the foot and ankle hold without pinching, and they are easy for a parent or aide to do up.
They are wipeable and can be used with or without shoes. Size them to the chair, and add wedges if the ankle angle needs building up.
