Sometimes the cushion is doing its job on pressure but the pelvis still is not sitting where you want it. The Spex Universal Positioning Base spacer kit goes underneath an air or gel cushion and lets you build the shape you need without touching the cushion itself.
The kit is firm EVA foam: two spacer bases and a set of contouring and obliquity pads that you place according to your assessment. The foam is rigid enough to hold a correction but soft enough to cut and trim on the day of the fitting.
Top and bottom surfaces grip the cushion and the seat base, so the build you set up stays put rather than shifting over the week. Pads can be added or removed later as the client changes, which makes it a useful base for someone whose posture is still settling.
