Who it suits
Clients who need both forearm support and a thigh guide, and whose posture is settled enough that a fixed angle on each is the right answer. Sharing one mounting bracket keeps the chair narrow through the doorway and gives a carer less to work around at transfer.
The arm support takes the weight of the forearm, which settles the shoulder girdle and holds the trunk up. The fixed thigh support sets against the leg to control abduction and stop hip and pelvic rotation, and it keeps the femur and greater trochanter clear of the sideguard where pressure would otherwise build.
Height and depth are adjustable on both, so the setup can be refined at review. Seat pan and seat rail mounts are available, along with quick release and swing down versions for clients who stand or slide across. Pads are selected separately, including custom sizes and cut outs.
