The Zygo Deep Mid Back Support is for a wheelchair user with moderate trunk control who needs posterior and lateral support through the pelvis, lumbar and lower thoracic spine. The deep contour holds the trunk in alignment and accommodates mild to moderate asymmetry without the user being strapped into position.
A padded top relief protects the spine where the shell finishes, which matters for clients who load the backrest through the day. The shell is light, so it does not add much to the weight of a chair your client has to propel or a carer has to lift into a boot. It comes off and goes back on without tools, which makes cleaning and vehicle transport straightforward.
It is offered in a wide grid of widths and heights, so the support can be matched to the client. Mounting hardware fits standard wheelchair back canes.
