Posterior pelvic tilt and forward sliding are hard to fix when the client needs to stay on a pressure care cushion. The Spex ischial contour base gives you somewhere to work: it sits under the air or gel cushion and shapes the surface underneath it.
The contour includes a pre ischial ledge that catches the pelvis and discourages the slide forward, while the firm EVA foam holds that correction through the day. Eight contouring and obliquity pads come with the base for building up a leg length difference or an obliquity.
Both faces grip, so the build stays where the clinician left it. Everything can be trimmed on site, and the kit can be reconfigured later rather than replaced when the client’s posture changes.
