An X-style harness crosses the straps over the chest, which puts the correction across both shoulders and pulls the trunk back symmetrically. It suits a client who tends to fall forward or rotate to one side and needs guidance at the shoulders with the chest left open.
The dynamic construction stretches as the client moves and returns them towards midline, so the harness guides the trunk without blocking it. Clients who find a full vest too warm or too enclosing often wear a harness for much longer stretches, and the open design leaves the chest clear for breathing, feeding and access.
Blended neoprene pads the straps where they cross the shoulders and chest, and finger loops let a carer set the tension from behind the chair. Chair attachment hardware is supplied, with three sizes to fit paediatric through adult.
