Transit safety is not optional for a client who travels seated in their wheelchair, and the backrest hardware is part of that system. This WC20 back hardware has been tested to hold the backrest in place under the forces of a frontal impact, so the seating stays intact and keeps doing its job when it matters most.
The wraparound design clamps to the back canes and gives a technician plenty of adjustment for backrest height, depth and angle, so transit compliance does not cost the client their prescribed position. Transit pins lock the hardware for travel and each pin is tethered so it does not go missing in the back of a van.
Supplied as two left and right pairs, which covers a full setup or a chair plus a spare. A head support is required with transit backs.
