The Medical Accessory Platform is a flat shelf that sits beneath the wheelchair seat and bolts to the lower frame, so the load sits low and central. Keeping the weight low and under the seat keeps the chair more stable on ramps and kerbs, and puts the equipment where a carer can reach it without tipping the chair back.
The platform is cut from sturdy ABS sheet and the mounting holes are slotted, so it takes up a small range of frame widths. Mounting hardware is ordered separately, which lets the platform be matched to the frame it is going onto.
