Feet that slide forward off the footplate cost a client their whole sitting position. These soft toe straps hold the shoe or foot where it belongs, so the pelvis and trunk stay where you set them up. They suit clients with extensor tone, restless lower limbs or reduced foot awareness who need a light, comfortable hold at the forefoot.
The strap runs over the forefoot and fastens with hook and loop, so a carer can undo it one handed and re-fasten it at exactly the same setting each time. It attaches to the footplate itself, which keeps the hardware out of the way of transfers and footwear changes. Three sizes cover most paediatric and adult feet, and the strap is soft enough to sit over a shoe or a bare foot without marking.
