The Snug Hug wrap on its own is for clients who already have the blanket, or for programs where only the compression element is wanted. It is a discreet, easy to use wrap that closes with hook and loop over the shoulders, torso, hips and thighs.
What makes it workable in a busy day is that the pressure is adjustable by simply tightening the closures, so support staff can ease it off or firm it up as the client’s state changes without removing the garment. The fabric is spandex and nitrile rubber, which holds its stretch and keeps the contact even across the trunk.
It hand washes cold and lays flat to dry, so it is straightforward for a family to keep in rotation.
