A rim around a wheelchair tray keeps things on it. For a client with tremor, poor arm control or limited vision, that raised edge is what stops a cup, a plate or a phone going over the side every time they reach.
This kit adds that edge to a tray, which is worth doing when a tray is being rebuilt, when a rim has been damaged, or when a client’s function has changed and a plain flat tray is no longer working for them.
It also helps carers: fewer spills on the floor, fewer items retrieved from under the chair, and a tray that can be used for meals with more confidence. Kits are sized to the tray, so the rim follows the tray outline and the body cutout.
