Lateral trunk support is often the difference between a client sitting upright and a client collapsing sideways into a scoliotic posture through the afternoon. This LTS pad comes as a complete unit with base, foam and cover, so it can be fitted straight onto existing lateral hardware.
The medium visco foam layer gives against a bony ribcage, which is what makes all day wear possible for a slim client. Behind it, the moulded plastic base holds the shape and transfers load into the mounting bracket.
The contact face is reverse Dartex, chosen because it moves with the client and limits shear on the skin. T-nuts are set into the base at regular centres so height and depth can be adjusted on the bracket as a client grows or their posture changes.
