This harness is for a client with strong extensor tone who thrusts forward out of the seat. It is cut from static webbing and pads, so it holds the pelvis firmly and works against posterior pelvic rotation and anterior thrusting.
The front pull design means a carer tightens from the front of the chair, where they can see what they are doing and reach the buckles without leaning behind the client. Thigh straps wrap each leg so the correction is applied at the pelvis, not across the abdomen.
The extra webbing straps in this version attach to the chair frame wherever suits the build, which gives you mounting options on a chair with an awkward frame and room for a larger thigh.
