For a client who needs a narrow abductor between the knees and has skin you would rather not press on, this Therafin pad uses a SynerGel insert. The gel gives under load and spreads pressure across the contact area, so the pad can do its positioning job without becoming a pressure problem of its own.
The gel sits over a wood base with threaded inserts moulded in, which gives a solid, repeatable fixing to Therafin abductor hardware. A removable knit laminated neoprene cover comes with it, so the surface against the skin can be taken off, washed and put back.
The narrow shape suits clients with a smaller gap between the knees or a chair where a wider pad would crowd the seat.
