A telescopic ramp travels with the client. The channels slide out to the length needed for the step or kerb in front of them, then collapse back down to be carried in a car boot, which suits people who visit family, clinics and shops with different entries.
Two separate channels line up with the wheels of a manual or power chair, so the ramp can be set to the chair’s track width. That keeps the weight of each piece down for whoever is setting it up.
We have not been able to confirm published figures for this particular ramp, so the length range, usable width and load rating need checking with us before it is matched to a step height and a chair weight.
