Head control is usually the first thing to go when a client is tilted back for hair washing. The headrest for the Starfish Pro is carried on a three part arm, so it can be brought to the head at the angle and height the person actually needs, then locked there.
Supporting the head properly means the client can be tilted far enough for a carer to wash and rinse without the neck being left unsupported, and it makes a long routine far less tiring for the person in the chair.
It is supplied with its own cushion in the fluid repellent hygiene cover used across the range, and long versions are available where more contact is wanted down the back of the head.
