About this product

Where a client has a leg length difference, windswept hips or different tone through each leg, the two feet need to sit at different heights and angles. The divided footrest for the Starfish Pro gives each foot its own plate so the two legs can be set independently.

Setting each side separately keeps the pelvis level and takes the twist out of the trunk, which makes the back support, laterals and belt work as intended. It also gives the carer clean access between the legs for washing and for catheterisation.

The plates are supplied as a pair, sized to the chair, and they work with the leg sections that adjust in length, width and abduction.
