A two section top changes what a shower trolley can do. The head end raises, so a client who cannot lie flat, or who is distressed lying flat, can be washed in a supported semi reclined position and can see the person washing them.
Height is electrically adjustable from the console, which means one carer can bring the trolley up to a working height, wash without bending, and lower it again for the transfer. The top tilts for drainage, gas springs control the movement, and the mattress drain hose carries water away. Side rails fold down with a safety release for transfers and lock up for transit.
Who it suits
Clients with respiratory or reflux issues who should not be laid flat, and anyone who becomes anxious when they cannot see the room during personal care.
