For residents who cannot sit up for a shower and have been getting bed washes instead, the Miranti lift bath trolley brings bathing back into reach. The full length stretcher supports the whole body, so the resident stays lying down from the bedside to the bath and back again.
One caregiver can run the whole cycle. The stretcher raises and lowers over a wide stroke so the carer works at their own height and is not bending over a low bath edge, and the powered backrest can be brought up to whatever position the resident prefers. This version includes the fifth wheel power drive, which takes most of the push out of moving a loaded trolley along a corridor.
Either end of the stretcher can be used as the head end, which means it can be brought in from whichever side the bed or bath allows. Every external surface is wipeable, including the moulded high density polyurethane foam stretcher.
