Side rails are a common source of skin tears and knocks, particularly for clients with fragile skin or involuntary movement. The Staebel Bed Rail Protector covers the rail with a polyurethane pad and a bioelastic incontinence cover, so contact with the rail is padded.

There are no zips, clips or exposed foam to catch on, and no fiddly attachment points that foul the side guard mechanism. It pushes down onto the top rail and it is in place, which suits busy wards and home settings alike.

The material is anti microbial, easy to clean and easy to disinfect. Two protectors can be used together to cover the full length of a four part side guard, and they are sold singly.
