The Staebel aluminium shower chair gives a client a seat, a back and something solid to push up from, in one moulded piece that will not soak up water.
It suits a client who can walk or transfer into the shower but cannot stand safely for the length of one: reduced endurance, dizziness or joint pain. The arms are there for anyone who needs to push up to stand, and the padded backrest gives light trunk support to a client who tires while seated.
The backrest reverses, so you can set it to suit the client or work around an awkward room layout, and the seat height adjusts to match the transfer. The frame is welded aluminium, which keeps it rigid and rust free in a wet room.
Good to know
- Check the recess is at least 570 mm wide and 540 mm deep
- The backrest can be turned around to suit the client or the room layout
