Legs or arms that pull together all day end up with skin on skin contact and, over time, adduction contracture. This separator sits between the limbs and keeps them apart, so the skin stays dry and the joint keeps its range.
A velcro strap adjusts the circumference, which means it can be fitted around a thin forearm or a fuller thigh and stay put without being tied to the bed. The comfort foam core is soft enough to adapt to the limb shape without pressing a line into it.
It is radiolucent for MRI, CT and X-ray, so imaging does not mean taking the positioning apart. The antibacterial waterproof cover unzips for washing and disinfection, with a frotte cover available for a single client.
