Feet that fall outwards all night take the legs and the pelvis with them, and the ankles stiffen into the position they spend the most hours in. A pair of foot supports holds the feet in a neutral position so that does not happen.
The supports are made from the same breathable fibre as the sleep system topper, so they manage heat and moisture around the foot for long stretches of lying. Sizes run from babies through to adult feet, and the pair works inside the base layer mesh so both feet stay where the clinician set them.
For clients heading towards fixed plantarflexion, or already wearing splints during the day, these give the ankles a well controlled position at night with nothing rigid pressing on the skin.
