About this product

Where a bariatric client uses a folding chair, or the back has to come off for a car boot or for cleaning, quick-release hardware is what makes that practical. This is the quick-release version of the Spex XLella bariatric mounting hardware.

The back lifts off and relocates without tools, and the four fixation points give the shell the same reinforced footing it has in the fixed version. It is transport certified for vehicle use, and width, depth and back angle all adjust so the same back support can be fitted to a range of frames.

Carers and family often do the removing and refitting, so the release has been kept simple enough to use in a driveway.
