Bariatric back supports fail at the bracket long before they fail at the shell, which is why Spex build dedicated hardware for the XLella range. This is the fixed bariatric version, the default choice where the back stays on the chair.
Four points of fixation spread the load, the brackets are reinforced and tested for heavier users, and the whole assembly is transport certified for travel in a vehicle. Fixed hardware is the lighter and simpler of the two options, and it can be flipped to open up extra seat depth when a client needs the back set further behind the cushion.
Width and depth adjustment let you fit the back to the frame you already have, and back angle can be set either side of upright to suit the client’s trunk.
