For clients who need real coverage and support across the chest, the Spex padded vest harness gives a broad anterior surface shaped to the contours of the body. It suits clients who pull or fall forward strongly and need to be held in an upright trunk position to use their arms, their vision and their voice.
The pad has a low neck design for safety and a generous lower cut out for stomach clearance, which makes it usable for clients with a feeding tube or other abdominal supports. The neoprene surface has enough stretch to let the client move and stay functional within the harness.
Release buckles at all four corners mean a carer can get it on and off quickly, which matters at both ends of the day and in an emergency. This is the medium size. It is a positioning device only and is not a vehicle restraint.
