A contoured general purpose sling suits most seated hoist transfers, and the polyester version of the Oxford Comfort is the one to reach for when you want a smooth fabric that slides into place under a seated client and dries fast after washing.
It works with four point positioning cradles and uses Securi3 clips, which are designed so the sling cannot come off the cradle by accident. Positioning handles on the sling give carers somewhere proper to hold while they line the client up, instead of grabbing at fabric.
A modesty loop keeps the client covered during the move. Sizes are colour coded at the binding, which saves time in a facility where several sizes live in the same store cupboard.
