A floor to ceiling pole is often the answer where a client needs something to pull up on but there is no wall to fix a rail to. Beside a bed, next to a recliner, at the end of a lounge: the pole stands wherever the client actually struggles to rise.
It fits under tension between the floor and the ceiling with no drilling, which makes it a realistic option in rental properties, retirement villages and homes where the client does not want holes in the ceiling. Hardware is supplied if a hard fixing is preferred, and the installation suits both flat and raked ceilings. The straight grab bar runs the length of the pole, so a client can take a grip at whatever height works for them without reaching for a fixed handle.
It is anodised aluminium, finished in bronze or graphite so it reads as part of the room. It is not intended for use inside a bath or shower.
