Each channel is aluminium with a grooved non slip walking surface, and they slide back down to a short carry length for the boot. Because they adjust across a range, one pair can cover a low kerb at home and a higher tailgate on the road.

The person setting them up needs to be able to line both channels up with the wheels, so they suit an active user or a carer who is confident with the task.
