Drivers looking out of a car do not see a scooter behind a parked van or over the crest of a driveway. A high visibility flag on a tall flexible mast puts something moving up where it lands in a driver’s line of sight, and it costs almost nothing to fit.
It is worth recommending for any client who crosses car parks, uses shared paths or rides near traffic, and especially for a client who is low in the seat or who rides at dawn and dusk. The mast flexes as the scooter moves, and that movement is what catches the eye.
