This is the analyser paired with the ultrasonic height rod, so height and body composition are captured in the one station. Height matters here: every composition figure is indexed to it, and a stated or out of date height quietly skews the whole result.
Height is measured without contact, in seconds, and the rod calibrates itself. The client then stands on the platform and holds the fixed position handrail while eight point bioelectrical impedance analysis separates fat mass, skeletal muscle mass and body water.
Results are presented through seca’s cloud software as graphics that make sense to a client, and can be sent directly to an electronic medical record or a printer.
