Some services still need a printed record of a measurement, whether for a parent to take home, a paper file or a growth chart. The seca 467 receives results wirelessly from compatible seca scales and measuring rods and prints them on the spot, with no cable and no typing.
It does more than reproduce the number. The printer can work up body mass index or body fat percentage from the settings you enter for sex, age and physical activity level, and it can compare a child’s height and weight against recognised growth references, which is useful in paediatric and child health settings.
Resting and total energy expenditure can also be printed, which helps in dietetics and rehabilitation reviews. Paper feeds from a roll and is cut automatically, so the slip is ready to hand over.
