About this product

A digital rod takes the guesswork out of reading an infant length. The seca 234 fits to the seca 333i, 336i and 336 baby scales and shows the figure on an illuminated LCD, so there is no squinting at a printed scale in a dim room or across a moving baby.

Head and foot positioners are part of the rod, and an ergonomic adjustment knob keeps it from tilting as you slide it, which is where a lot of small errors creep in. Weighing and measuring happen in one handling of the child.

The rod is aluminium and built for constant clinic use. It suits neonatal units, paediatric wards and child health services where lengths are recorded often and need to be defensible over time.
