Height, weight and BMI in one stop, with the client stepping onto the platform once. The seca 284 is a measuring station for clinics that take all three routinely and want them recorded without the shuffle between a scale and a rod.
The scale sits in a slip-resistant glass platform with a heel positioner, and the column is designed not to tip. The headpiece carries the seca Frankfurt Line so head position is right before the reading is taken, and it has its own display for the height.
A three-line touch display shows weight, height and the calculated BMI together. The fine graduation picks up small weight changes, which matters for clients being monitored for loss or gain, and results transmit wirelessly into a record system.
