Tremor, poor upper limb control or the use of a single hand all make an ordinary dinner plate hard work. This scooper plate answers both halves of the problem at once: a high rim with a reverse curve on one side to load a utensil against, and a broad vinyl suction base that anchors the plate to the table.
Because the plate does not move, the client can bear down on it to get food onto the fork. The curve does the work that a second hand would normally do.
It is heat resistant polypropylene, microwave safe and dishwasher safe on the top rack with the base removed, so it fits into an ordinary kitchen routine.
