This scooper bowl is for clients who eat one handed, or whose hands shake enough that a bowl travels across the table during a meal. The rim rolls over into a high curve on one side, giving a wall to push against so food lifts onto the spoon in one movement.
Underneath, a wide vinyl suction base grips the table and holds the bowl still. The client can load a spoon with real force and the bowl will not shift or tip.
The bowl itself is heat resistant polypropylene, so it handles hot food and goes through the dishwasher once the base is taken off. It suits all ages, from a child building self feeding skills to an adult with tremor or hemiplegia.
