Who it suits
The Sara Plus is a powered standing and raising aid for a person who has some weight bearing ability and some ability to hold on, but cannot rise from a chair or a bed without help. It brings them from sitting to standing under motor power, with the carer guiding the movement and the motor doing the work.
Beyond the transfer itself, it is built for standing practice, balance work and stepping and gait training, so a therapist can use the same machine for the session and the shift. Keeping a client on their feet regularly holds on to the strength that makes transfers possible, which matters for anyone at the edge of needing a full hoist. An optional integrated scale lets you weigh a client during a normal transfer and track weight bearing over time, with no separate weighing task.
One carer can operate it using the dual controls. We stock it with and without the scale.
