The MiniLift200 is a mobile sit to stand lift for people who still have some standing ability but cannot get up from a chair, bed or toilet without help. Used with a ThoraxSling, it supports the client under the feet, across the front of the lower legs and behind the back, then brings them forward and up in the movement pattern a person would use on their own.
Who it suits
It suits clients working on transfers and standing tolerance, where active participation in the rise is part of the goal. Because the rise is active, leg muscles and standing balance get used every time, which makes it a sensible choice where a therapy goal sits alongside the daily transfer need. It is also a practical answer for toileting, where clothing management is far easier with the client upright.
For the carer, the base narrows for doorways and widens around a chair or commode, the lower leg support and lift arm adjust to the client, and the hand control has four buttons and nothing else to learn. The steel frame handles taller and heavier clients.
