Who it suits
The Rollz Rhythm is for clients with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions who freeze mid walk, where the feet stop or stutter in place while the intention to move is still there. Freezing is a fall risk and a confidence killer, and it does not respond well to being told to try harder.
The Rhythm builds cueing into the walker itself. A green laser line is projected on the floor to give the client something to step over, a metronome sets a step rhythm to walk to, and the handles can vibrate in time, which is the discreet option in public. Settings are changed on the handles or through the Rollz app, and the app can vary the pattern so the client does not tune the cue out over time.
Underneath the cueing it is a stable rollator with a seat, and it converts to a transport chair with the wheelchair accessory.
