Feet supported means a stable pelvis, and on a toileting chair that is the whole game. The HTS footboard sets the client’s feet at a height and angle you choose and gives them a surface to push through while they are working.
Height adjusts on the uprights and the angle changes by squeezing the triggers and moving the board, so a carer can reset it for growth or for a different client without tools. It folds up out of the way for transfers. It is also the mount for the calf rest and the ankle straps.
Running the board fully extended with the mobile base at its lowest setting can stop the front castors swivelling, so raise the seat or change the angle if that happens.
