An Activity Chair that fits a client in every dimension can still let them slide forward on the seat or lose their lumbar curve by mid morning. The lumbar and seat support kit is there to fix that without changing the chair.
The kit is two pieces of dense foam. The lumbar piece slips in behind the backrest pad to restore the curve of the lower back and bring the pelvis upright. The seat piece goes under the seat pad towards the front, where it makes a gentle ramp that stops the client sliding out of position. Both attach with adhesive backed hook and loop strips, so they stay put and come out again when the setup changes.
The real value is that the foam can be cut down for the individual. A therapist can trim either piece to suit one client’s joint and spine alignment.
