The Katie High Back Chair is a day chair for a client who spends most of the day seated and needs the chair set to their own measurements. Seat height and seat depth both adjust, so you can get the feet flat on the floor and still leave clearance behind the knee, which is the combination that makes standing up from the chair possible without a carer.
The backrest is contoured and padded and runs high enough to support the head and shoulders, so a client who fatigues through the day is not sliding sideways by mid afternoon. Armrests are large and padded, which gives them something solid to push up from. Mobility wheels are fitted to the rear legs as standard, so a carer can tip the chair back and move it between rooms on their own.
Upholstery is vinyl over a powder coated frame, which wipes down and holds up in high care and continence settings. The backrest folds down for transport or storage.
