Who it suits
The Denver suits a client who can no longer rise from a standard armchair, and who spends enough of the day in that chair that comfort and pressure care matter as much as the lift. Two motors drive the backrest and the leg rest separately, so the client can recline without the legs following, and find a position that suits their breathing, reflux or oedema.
The leg rest extension is the detail that makes it work for taller clients, giving the calves and heels somewhere to sit, with no overhang at the end. Backrest cushions are removable and the padding inside can be adjusted, so you can tune the back to your client’s shape after it arrives.
For carers, the handset has large backlit buttons and a hanging strap so it does not end up under the chair. Battery backup means the client can still be brought upright in a power cut, which is the situation that leaves people stranded.
