Forearm crutches suit clients who will be weight bearing through their arms for a long stretch: a lower limb injury with a slow recovery, a permanent gait pattern, or partial weight bearing that needs to be maintained. The cuff takes load through the forearm and frees the hand, which eases the demand on the wrist.
These Red Gum crutches have handed anatomic grips, so the left and right handles are shaped to the palm, and contact pressure is spread across a larger area. The aluminium shaft is height adjustable through a wide range and finished in brushed aluminium.
Plastic silencers reduce the click on hard floors, which clients tend to appreciate.
Supplied as a pair, and we are Tasmanian owned, so give us a call to arrange a fitting.
