Reaching into a tight space often means turning the wrist into an uncomfortable position. The Handi-Grip PRO gets around that with a jaw that rotates through a quarter turn and locks there, so the client pulls, twists and releases, then approaches the object at the angle the space allows.
The grip is wide and set up for fingertip control, which gives a secure hold on small items like coins and tablets as well as bulkier things like jars and bottles. The hooked trigger also works as a dressing aid for socks, coats and clothing adjustment.
It is a sensible general purpose reacher for clients who have reasonable hand function but limited reach, bending or trunk rotation.
