Holding a trigger closed all the way from the floor to the bench is tiring, and for a client with weak grip it is the point where the item gets dropped. The Handi-Grip MAX has a locking trigger: squeeze once, the jaws stay shut, and the client can carry the item without maintaining the squeeze.
The handle is a chunky gel grip that cushions the palm and suits arthritic hands over longer use, and the jaw rotates through a quarter turn so it can be angled into the space without twisting the wrist.
Between the lock and the rotating head it is a good choice for clients who fatigue quickly or who have pain on repeated gripping.
