Because manoeuvrability depends on balance at this weight, the backrest and the rear axle plate adjust fore and aft independently, so you can tune where the centre of mass sits relative to the wheels and make the chair push easily without losing rear stability. The Ischial and Pelvic Alignment System adds seat depth adjustment for different body shapes.
Castor size steps up at the higher end of the weight range, the moulded foam seat spreads load across the sitting surface, and the tension adjustable back can be removed and machine washed.
