A foam insert for the back rest of the R82 x:panda. It fills the gap that opens up beneath the back when the seat is set at certain depth and angle positions, so the child gets a continuous surface behind them instead of a step.
That gap is easy to overlook and it matters. An unsupported band across the lower back lets the pelvis slide and gives sacral tissue somewhere to fall into, which is the start of a posterior tilt and of pressure problems. Closing it keeps the back surface doing its job over the whole contact area.
The foam can be trimmed with a knife to suit the gap on the individual chair, then placed on the back.
