The R82 Swan Curo is a toilet and bath chair for children and young people who need to be held well while daily hygiene happens. The shell is shaped to enclose the user rather than sit them on a flat seat, and a soft polyurethane inlay takes the hardness out of it.
That inlay is a practical choice as much as a comfort one: it clips on easily, it stands up to repeated cleaning, and it can be replaced without replacing the chair. Head support, vests and belts are available to build up the level of support where the child needs it.
Positioning is managed with a gas spring assisted tilt, so one carer can change the child’s angle under control instead of muscling the chair. The foot support adjusts for height and angle, and the frame itself is height adjustable, which lets you set it to the toilet, to a transfer, or to a comfortable working height for whoever is helping. Five sizes take it from young children through to larger teenagers.
