About this product

This belt secures a side support on an R82 Scallop seating system, holding the pad against the trunk so it stays where the therapist set it through transfers and movement.

Side supports only do their job if they stay put. A belt across the support keeps contact with the child’s trunk consistent through the day, which is what makes a lateral correction useful across the whole day. It also stops the child sliding forward past the pad when they push into extension.

The belt comes in two widths so you can match it to the size of the support already fitted. It is a replacement part as much as an addition, and it is worth keeping a spare where a chair is in daily school use.
